Sparse on screen. Practical underneath.

It is browser-only for now, built against Jellyfin 12.0 and .NET 10. Admin settings and a coverage report live under Dashboard → Plugins → Teilifís Seán.

Channels

Rules over the movie library decide what appears where. A film can be on several channels.

Schedule

Each channel orders films by a stable hash and loops forever from 1 Jan 2026.

Playback

MP4 and WebM direct-play when possible. Everything else uses Jellyfin HLS.

Switching

Nearby direct-play channels are kept ready when the connection can handle it.

Build it. Stop Jellyfin. Copy it in.

The folder name includes the plugin version, so copying a new build beside an old one leaves both visible to Jellyfin. Remove the old folder first.

Install or upgrade

  1. Stop Jellyfin.
  2. Delete older TeilifisSean, TelefisSean, or TvSurf plugin folders.
  3. Copy in dist/TeilifisSean_<version>.
  4. Start Jellyfin and open /TeilifisSean/.
